NOTTINGHAM FOREST vs LIVERPOOL (1230)
One of two dead certs for today. Or one for the gambling upsetwallahs? Away win.

EVERTON vs CRYSTAL PALACE (1500)
Very even on paper, but can the Toffees make home advantage count? It could be important come the end of the season. Draw.

MANCHESTER CITY vs BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION (1500)
Brighton’s form has started to drop after Potter’s departure. There’s little to no prospect f that changing today. Home win.

CHELSEA vs MANCHESTER UNITED (1730)
Potter plays Ten Hag – an intriguing contest that offers no clear favourite. Draw.

*SUNDAY*

ASTON VILLA vs BRENTFORD (1400)
Like last season, Brentford are banking the points early on in the firm hope that they won’t get sucked into a relegation battle next year. What impact will Stevie G’s departure have on Villa? Very little, you’d think. Away win.

LEEDS UNITED vs FULHAM (1400)
There’s something likeable about the bloody-minded determination of Leeds boss Marsch. But he’ll have his work cut out against an in-form Fulham side now on the cusp of the European places. Arguably, the most appealing of today’s games. Draw.

SOUTHAMPTON vs ARSENAL (1400)
Saints’ fans are rapidly losing patience with Hassenhutl. His side will have to put in a decent performance at the very least to keep the P45 at bay. It’s a tough ask against the league leaders whose form shows no sign of letting up. Away win.

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS vs LEICESTER CITY (1400)
Have the Foxes finally got their season up and running? This is as good a test as any, but quality entertainment doesn’t look as if it’s on the menu at Molineux. Draw.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs NEWCASTLE UNITED (1630)
Two of the B-list high flyers meet in a kind of top of the table six-pointer. Newcastle have pulled up their socks of late, but may find Spurs one sock too far. Home win.

*MONDAY*

WEST HAM UNITED vs BOURNEMOUTH (2000)
The Cherries are one place and two points above us going into this game. Not bad for a side that many had – and probably still do – as relegation favourites. For us, it’s an opportunity to put points on the board and start moving up the table. But that will take a game plan of two halves, not a tedious crap first half followed by a rescue mission. Home win.

Once again we see no consistency whatsoever with the handball rule, Toon should have had a pen at two up, think it was Emerson with his arm well out. The whole handball law needs seriously looking at, no one seemingly has a clue what is going on with it and was is or isn't handball.

Turn it in, you mugs.

You lot take more enjoyment from Spurs losing than West Ham winning.

What with Spurs and Liverpool both losing this weekend, and Man U, Arsenal & Chelsea not winning, I imagine some in the media will be spitting blood.

Almost inevitable that we'll get stitched up by another dodgy VAR call now. Can't have the oiks gaining ground on the chosen ones.
